Message from Brajanath prabhu
Dear Raghava prabhu and all devotees that are concerned,
please accept my dandavats pranams. All glories to Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga and all glories to Sri Sri Radha Vinode Bihariji.
In regard to the ‘editing’ of Srila Gurudeva’s spoken words in the interview for the Society, we do understand your concerns and accept the fact that many of you have serious doubts as to what has taken place.
I will share with you that we are more than happy to keep the name for the Society real simple, either ‘BHAKTI‘, or ‘ BHAKTI TRUST‘, or ‘BHAKTI TRUST INTERNATIONAL‘, or ‘BHAKTI GROUPS‘,
but….. Srila Gurudeva wants that we use the words ‘INTERNATIONAL, PURE BHAKTI, YOGA, and SOCIETY, hence the announced name ‘INTERNATIONAL PURE BHAKTI YOGA SOCIETY‘
What to do??? my personal advice is that some devotees – in presence of video camera and audio recording – ask directly from Srila Gurudeva what is the correct name. I will be more than happy to help facilitate this at any time from today onwards.
aspiring for the service of Sri Guru and Vaisnavas

Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga and all glories to Sri Sri Radha Vinode Bihariji.
We wanted the name of the society to be one that all the devotees could accept as legitimate.
Therefore, we consulted the devotees world-wide and narrowed the names down to just a few options.
We had to arrive at a name that could be trademarked. In other words, if we are going to have a society, we wanted a name which could be legally used and protected as well as be sure that no-one could stop us using the name.
Five names were presented to Srila Gurudeva based on world-wide devotee preferences.
Srila Gurudeva’s favourite one was “International Bhakti Yoga Society” but he wanted the word “pure” inserted.
This was all confirmed at a large meeting just prior to the Nawadwipa parikram of 2008.Hare Krsna,
With love and affection,Your servant,
Yasodananda das
